How to be eligible for the Golden Visa?

For investors, the easiest way is to invest AED 2 Million (Euros 510,000 or 435,000 Pounds) worth of property in Dubai. Not in any other emirate. The property can be mortgaged, or an off-plan or pre-construction property. There is no minimum amount required. The value of the real estate has to be AED 2 Million.

The second option for investors is to deposit AED 2 Million in government-approved local banks in Dubai. After two years they can withdraw the money and still keep the Golden Visa. But the Golden Visa will not be renewed unless they deposit the AED 2 Million again. (Note: this law can be amended anytime by the government authorities, and not all banks approve the withdrawal after 2 years.).

You need basic health insurance and a valid passport, that’s it.

How much does it cost?

For the main applicant the price as of today February 14th, 2024 is between AED 10,000 to 15,000. (Euro 3800. And for each dependent it is around AED 6,100 (Euro 1600). Government fees can be changed anytime without notice.
